28mm Gallic army based for Triumph

After deciding to switch from Impetus to Triumph, the next step was to slowly work through all of my 28mm armies and rebase them. A painful process to say the least, but it’s all done now. Pictured here is one of the bonuses I found from switching systems. A full Gallic army, something I didn’t have enough figures for in Impetus.

The first of eleven elements of warriors.
The guy with the two swords is such a great figure.
When taking these photos I found that the large shields blocked out most of the figure poses. So I've added rear shots of the infantry stands here as well.
The entire army is built from a combination of Crusader and A&A miniatures. To my eye these two ranges seem to mix well together.
Although I've dipped my toe into the plastic revolution. These days I much prefer metal figures.
I have currently painted up six bases of war-band. These represent warriors that fought in a more open formation.
